Rare antique book by Cicero, Opera, 1534.

Ad haec, Rerum & verborum Index omnium locuplentissimus & castigatissimus, cum Annotationibus variarum lectionum.

Basel, Herwagen, 1534. Folio (37 x 25 cm) Four parts in two volumes. 4p, 318pp, 1p; 4p, 595pp; 6p, 418pp, 1p; 10p, 402pp, 60p. With numerous woodcut initials and 8 printer's marks. Contemporary blind-stamped pigskin , original clasps over wooden boards. A few wormholes in the first part of the first vol. and the last part of the second vol.

Title page restored: upper part (3 cm) with first line of title reinstated.
