Old map of the World by L. Hulsius.

Double hemispherical map of the world. In the corners and between the hemispheres are six medallions of celebrated navigators - Amerigo Vespucci, Chistopher Columbus, Francis Drake, Cavendish, Ferdinand Magellan and Juan Sebastian del Cano. The track of Magellan's circumnavigation is marked on the map which also notes some of Drake's discoveries, such as Anglia Nova in America's western coast. The map includes a large southern continent.
