The main members of this family were:
- Pierre Aveline I (1656-1722) was a cartographer and engraver who specialised in topographical views.
- Antoine Aveline I (1662-1712) Engraver and publisher of city views.

Old, antique view of Le château de Fontainebleau, published in Paris by the Jean family.
Title: Veue de Château de St Cloud,
située sur la Seine à deux lieues au dessous de Paris, appartenant à M. Le Duc d'Orleans, le Bourg s'appelloit autrefois Nogent, ce nom luy fut changé à l'occasion de St. Cloud fils de Clodomir Roy d'Orleans, y ayant esté enterré le rendit célebre par ses miracles. Ce fut là que Henry III Roy de france fut assajsinée en 1589. le Domaine de ce lieu fut érigé en Duché Pairie en 1670. en faveur de François de Harlay de Chanvalon, Archevêque de cette Ville, et pour ses successeurs.
