Very rare, nearly unknown map of Lombardy

This almost unknown map is not mentioned in the main cartographic reference works. Only the work of Davoli and Sanfelici mentions it: "We found no detailed account of this exceedingly rare map in the references we consulted […] ".
Johann Hoffman (1629-1698)
Engraver, publisher, and cartographer of Nuremberg. He is best remembered for his small-format atlases and geographical prints, as well as several finely executed city views and regional maps. He issued compact geographical compilations intended for a broad audience. Some surviving engraved city prospects are attributed to him or his workshop.
